mxr desk

Generated from mxr desk --help. Edit the clap definitions in crates/daemon/src/cli/ and re-run npm run build in site/ to regenerate.

What needs you, not what arrived: replies you owe, promises coming due, threads waiting on someone, and new mail from people, each with the reason it is there. Everything else is summarised as counts

--account <ACCOUNT> Limit to one account; the default covers every account
--limit <LIMIT> Rows to show per lane; each lane still reports its total [default: 25]
--gists Show what each conversation is about and what it asks of you, where a model has already written it. Never waits on a model; mxr briefing gists --generate queues the missing ones
--format <FORMAT> [possible values: table, json, jsonl, csv, ids]
-h, --help Print help

Done: nothing for you to do here, put it away.

You owe and New from people are archived, marked read and stay off the desk until someone writes in the conversation again. Waiting on is marked read and done waiting. A Due promise is resolved and its conversation marked read. Prints an undo id for mxr undo.

--lane <LANE> The lane the conversations are in. Default: waiting when you wrote last, otherwise owed [possible values: owed, due, waiting, people-new]
--promise <COMMITMENT_ID> Resolve this promise (a Due row’s commitment id). Takes one thread id

Reply later, or wait for a reply, until a time.

When they wrote last: reply later. The conversation leaves the desk and the reply queue and comes back to both at the time. When you wrote last: it leaves Waiting on and comes back at the time if nobody has replied, joining the reply queue. Prints an undo id for mxr undo.
