People you talk with, one row each. Reply or mark done.
Four bands: Your turn (their latest message to you is unanswered; closest people first, then whoever has waited longest past your usual pace), Pinned, Recent and Quiet. Each row is a person, merged across their addresses, with your conversations inside as topics; a group thread is its own row. A thread you were only copied on goes to Updates. The preview is what they asked, from the conversation’s gist when one is cached, else what they wrote last.
